Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales
The Wildlife Trust specialise in Wildlife issues and work with businesses, Councils and local communities and groups to help them to take action for their local environment. We cover the whole of South and West Wales and we facilitate & support environmental action and we work directly with community groups on wildlife projects. We also support development workers and other professionals in their work with local communities. We aim to raise awareness of environmental issues througha range of activities and events, including work with schools, practical conservation, site management, advice, offering volunteering opportunities and organisaing childrens wildlife clubs (WATCH). We also have a network of nature reserves most of which are free for the public to enjoy, a total of 97 in total includingSkokholm and Skomer Islands with volunteer accomodation. The wildlife trust for south and west wales is the largest charity working on all forms of conservation in Wales. We are one of 47 of the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts across the UK.
